Norwegian Skating Festival AS is an event company owned by the local sports clubs Sør Fron IL, Gjøvik Skøiteklub, Brøttum Il and Moleven IL.

The 2nd anual Norwegian Skating Festival is taking place in February 2011. The organizers want to mobilize participants to the race as well as contributors to the festival on the ice.

Norwegian Skating Festival as a project idea has passed one year, and a successfull test event was held 6 February 2010.

Since then the race has been evalutaed, reorganised and refinanced. The period with planning and concept development has been going on for months.

The event in 2011 will include more festive elements, and exploit the ice surface as the wonderful playground it is.

Our web site will be the platform of communication, and enables us to inform interested readers and participants on the progress of the preparation.
